To follow up on the readiness of the division on the simulation of the utilization of Self- Made Learning Modules (SLeMs), Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines gathered via Google Meet the members of the Simulation Group of the Pre School Opening Activities (PSOA) with the selected principals and supervisors, July 7.
Dr. Ladines reiterated to the participants what transpired during their recent Regional Management Committee Meeting (MANCOM) as regards the simulation which Director Malcolm S. Garma emphasized must be conducted by all of the divisions of the National Capital Region before the end of July.
Dr. Rosie Rumbaoa presented to the participants the original plan of the activity which the Simulation group had earlier crafted before the expanded group’s meeting. Dr. Ladines said that the original plan would still go on although the actual simulation would be based on the recent MANCOM she has attended.
“That is why I requested all principals to hasten the submission to the EPS of the SLMs which had already undertaken quality assurance (QA) in the school level in order to proceed to the division level QA so we can start the production of the modules next week,” she said adding that the simulation depends upon the partial printing of the modules.
According to Dr. Ladines, the new Framework of Simulation covers the activities related to the implementation of the packaging of modules up to their retrieval. Thus, the tote bags or eco-bags must already be in place during the packaging of the SLeMs.
The following is the new framework simulation activities with the persons involved including the documentation schedule:
As regards documentation, Dr. Ladines suggested to choose a documenter who is keen at noting the details and the number of minutes or hours will a school be able to simulate all the activities so that these risks, gaps, lapses, and pain points or struggles be addressed right away for the smooth opening of classes.
