SDO P’que employees ‘meet, greet’ new SDS

It’s a fresh start for the Schools Division of Paraǹaque with its new head of office, Schools Division Superintendent Nerissa L. Losaria.

Gathered at the Jaime Ferrer Hall in a ‘meet and greet’ on April 12, 2023, all SDO employees were all ears at the new superintendent, who expressed her particularity to learning outcomes and assessment and considered herself as results-oriented and data-driven upshots while at the same time, wanting to see happy employees as she firmly believes that “Happy employees are productive employees in the workplace.”

Superintendent Losaria spent the rest of the day engaging in a tete-a-tete, particularly with the unit and section heads, and found time to visit the different offices to be familiar with the employees.

To recall, April 3 was the first day for the reassigned superintendent to report to her office and do a courtesy call to Local Chief Executive Mayor Eric L. Olivarez.  Then, the turnover of responsibility, the symbolic key, and the Division flag took place on April 11 at the PNHS-Main, following the long vacation in observance of the Holy Week.

Dr. Losaria, in fact, already made her first appearance at the SDO with the former Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Violeta M. Gonzales, who welcomed her warmly and introduced her to the SGOD and CID chiefs, Unit and Section heads.

The current superintendent vowed to sustain the legacy and the footprints of the former Division leader, Dr. Ladines, whom she acknowledged as a seasoned superintendent who mentored her when she was yet an ASDS in another division they both once served years ago.

In return, ASDS Gonzales assured Dr. Losaria of the full support of the SDO to her leadership and to pay her the same respect given to the former schools division superintendent. (By Reena G. Orquina)
