There is much work to do yet to provide more accessible and quality-assured Basic Education services for the constituents of Parañaque City.
The above statement is the resolve of Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines, who joined the ELA Workshop held at the Quest Hotel, Clark Pampanga, Aug. 24-26, 2022.
Executive Legislative Agenda or ELA workshop aimed to propose high-impact projects to be implemented and materialized within three years. Such projects would be included in the local government unit (LGU) Annual Investment Plan and funded by the Special Education Fund (SEF).
Well-thought-out an immediate need, Superintendent Ladines has been pushing for the purchase of additional lots and construction of school buildings beginning 2023-2024, especially for the proposed and existing schools: San Isidro High School currently sharing the building space of San Isidro Elementary School; Fourth Estate Elementary School – BF Extension, which has been in a private property lot for ten years; the proposed Fourth Estate high school; and an additional lot and expansion of San Antonio National High School.
Previously, Dr. Ladines pressed the schools to conform to DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2014. Thus, the grant recognizing the establishment and independence of the nine schools gave way to the promotion and reclassification of the schoolheads as Public School Principals effective December 2021.
The establishment of the said schools justified the inclusion of the schools for the downloading of school MOOE and plantilla items for teachers.
