DepEd P’que welcomes new SDS, holds turn-over ceremony

Outgoing Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines turned over the symbolic key, Division flag, and documents to the incoming Schools Division Superintendent Nerissa L. Losaria in the eventful Turn-over Ceremony at the PNHS Main-AVR on April 11, 2023.

 

The ceremony likewise officially welcomed Dr. Losaria to the SDO Paraǹaque family and bid farewell to Dr. Ladines, who has staunchly served the Schools Division of Paraǹaque for three years, five months, and 14 days.

 

In her farewell message, Superintendent Ladines expressed her gratitude to the Division, which showed her respect, sincerity, time, and active support on the implemented programs, projects, and activities, at the same time, wished for a ‘best’ journey with Dr. Losaria.

 

Dr. Ladines specifically mentioned Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Violeta M. Gonzales for her full support to the Office and the entire SDO, for her bright ideas, inputs, and tasks, all the same on matters that helped lighten her feelings on a personal note.

 

“There is time for everything. Everything happens for a purpose. It is God who gives the perfect time and purpose,” Dr. Ladines remarked.

 

Moreover, Dr. Ladines assured the SDO of the high competence and commitment of Dr. Losaria to deliver her mandate as the new Schools Division Superintendent.

 

Dr. Ladines was conferred the Plaque of Recognition for promoting responsive, creative, and relevant educational services in her reign as the Division leader from October 15, 2019 – March 31, 2023.

 

Meanwhile, employees and supporters of Dr. Losaria from SDO Caloocan packed the program venue to witness another milestone of their former Schools Division Superintendent, now called to serve her new home, the DepEd Paraǹaque City.

 

Before the ceremony, Dr. Ladines had also been welcomed and sent off by the SDO family to the Schools Division of Muntinlupa in the morning (of) that same day. (by Reena G. Orquina)
