DepEd Paraῆaque holds virtual, f2f EOSY rites

Schools Division of Paraῆaque City formally closed the classes with the End-of-School Year (EOSY) Rites for Kindergarten, Grade 6, Grade 10, and Grade 12 learners on June 27 – July 2, 2022, compliant with DepEd Memo 43 s. 2022, dubbed as the “Conduct of the K to 12 Basic Education Program EOSY Rites for SY 2021-2022 in Light of the Covid-19 Public Health Emergency.”

The 45 elementary and secondary schools of the division organized the respective rites via virtual platform or face-to-face (f2f) depending on the agreement between the school and the community, provided that public safety and health are considered top priority even amidst the heightened coronavirus disease testing and vaccination.

Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines stressed out schools strictly adhere to the schedule, employ the standard 2022 EOSY program template, get consent from parents/guardians of the participating learners, and observe IATF health and safety protocols for the face-to-face rites.

The CID and the SGOD teamed up to grace the EOSY rites and meticulously assessed or checked whether the schools acted the standards set for holding the said rites with the tool provided by the division team of monitoring and evaluation. (by Reena G. Orquina)
