LCRP Year 1 review gauges better learning outcomes
Schools Division of Paranaque concluded the Year 2022 with the 10 Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs) conducting a one-day concurrent meeting with all schoolheads together with the department heads and selected master teachers in their respective districts, in different settings on December 29, 2022.
The district engagements were the cascading of what transpired in the Division Assessment of Learning Continuity and Recovery Program (LCRP) Implementation Year 1 Report held at the Jaime Ferrer Hall of the Schools Division Office on December 21, 2022.
The PSDSs explaining the five major points for LCRP improvement based on the Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) results reported by Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines challenged the schools to review their respective LCRP programs, refining and realigning them based on the recommendations and suitable resources. CID Chief Bernardo N. Mascarina supervised the synchronized meetings and, shared the tools for efficient and effective school LCRP M&E.
Before the engagement, Dr. Ladines expressed deep concern about the issues that need appropriate action, to wit: the alignment and realignment of the programs for literacy and numeracy, enhanced implemented programs in JHS (for Science, Math, and English), learning and development (L&D) programs, SEL (socio-emotional learning), and assessment of learning outcomes. Relatively, she guided all PSDSs in their meeting with the schoolheads to impart the concern as accurately as possible so that the latter would be able to address the matters at their respective school levels.
The presentation and feedback on the outputs and ways forward summed up the activity of the day. (by Reena G. Orquina)
