Even though the COVID-19 pandemic limits the movement of the people to essentials and necessitates skeletal workforce in the offices to continue operation, the Schools Division of Parañaque guarantees that those in work from home (WFH) personnel still function as normally as possible.

Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines intensified the collaboration between the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) and School Governance Operations Division (SGOD) headed by chief education supervisors Dr. Bernardo N. Mascariña and Dr. Marilyn B. Timtiman, respectively, in monitoring the Division wide Virtual Homeroom Activities via Google Meet, September 23-25.

Three composed a team to virtually monitor the activities with the Public Schools District Supervisor assigned in each district being partnered with an Education Program Supervisor, and a division specialist.

The PSDSs secured the Google meeting links and shared these to the companions to do virtual random monitoring of the PSOA Homeroom conducted by the concerned class advisers. All the points observed have been noted and were brought in the team’s discussion using the monitoring tool.

Prepared by the group of Ma. Estrellita C. Arceo, the topics had been meticulously examined and validated by Superintendent Ladines with OIC-Assistant Superintendent Violeta M. Gonzales, SGOD and CID chiefs, several days before the actual advisers-students-parents- encounter.

To sustain the interest of the attendees, the concerned class advisers employed creative schemes of bringing together the topics presented on videos which include Pandemic and COVID-19 Related WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Utilization of the Self-Learning Modules (SLM) and FB Messenger.
