To develop among teachers the capability to respond to the demands of the education system in the new normal, the Schools Division of Parañaque through Mr. Al C. Catchillar, IT officer, conducted a Webinar Training on Different Online Platforms via Google Meet, July 6-10, 2020.

The webinar aimed to equip the skills of the teachers on the use of the online platforms such as the learning management system Google Classroom, Google Jamboard, Flipgrid, and Canva which they may adapt while engaged in the online teaching.

For effective and efficient facilitation of the online training which requires hands-on activities on the different platforms, the participating schools were divided into 14 groups wherein each group was assigned a particular day and time to join together with the concerned school heads and Public Schools District Supervisors.

“I am happy to enhance my skill on the use of the Google Classroom and discover the Flipgrid which gives me an idea of what to do in my online class, thanks for organizing this training,” quips one of the participants. (By Reena G. Orquina)
