“Continue to enhance your skills to provide quality education in spite of the challenge we are facing at this time of pandemic,” urged Schools Division Superintendent Evangeline P. Ladines in her inspirational message given to approximately 3, 0000 teachers in the simultaneous Division In-Service Training across All Learning Areas via Google Meet on June 29-July 1, 2020.

Spearheaded by Superintendent Ladines through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) with Dr. Bernardo N. Mascariña, CID chief, the webinar aimed to prepare all teachers from Kindergarten up to the Senior High School for the S.Y. 2020-2021.

Dr. Ladines also requested the teachers to come up with modules which invite the learners and stimulate them to study. “The contents must be rich and that the activities are also age-appropriate, she added.

Dr Ladines assured the teachers of the full support of the local government in distributing the modules to the parents or guardian.

The topics of the webinar encompassed the clarification on the queries of the teachers in the preparation of the Learning Plan in place of the Daily Lesson Plan (DLP) or Daily Lesson Log (DLL) in their respective learning areas; their responsibilities, particularly the procedures in reaching out to the learners given the default modality of DepEd Parañaque which is the Distance Learning through Modular Instruction, and the rubrics used in the performance assessment.

The three-day webinar ended with a closing program where the teachers articulated their impressions of the given topics and sessions. (By Edwin S. Doria)
